This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Consultants and Assistants delivering retirement plan services to sponsors, brokers/agents, and financial partners.

• Uphold service standards and foster an environment that encourages achievement and professional development.

• Safeguard, secure, and appropriately manage confidential Ascensus data.

• Inspire, guide, support, and train team members to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Take part in the hiring process by conducting interviews and assessing candidates.

• Provide regular performance feedback and execute performance planning, updates, and annual evaluations.

• Synchronize processes and procedures with other managers.

• Attend leadership meetings, associate gatherings, project initiatives, and annual planning sessions.

• Monitor service levels, phone activity, associate productivity, and various metrics.

• Organize and plan workflows to fulfill service commitments.

• Generate weekly and monthly production metrics reports.

• Formulate staffing strategies to allocate resources in line with business needs and client service goals.

• Coordinate training and orientation for new associates.

• Enhance staff industry knowledge, business acumen, and professional growth.

• Create workflow alternatives, suggest process enhancements, and assist in implementing changes.

• Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• An advanced degree or industry-specific certification (such as ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) is highly preferred.

• 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the industry.

• 7-10 years of overall industry experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• In-depth knowledge of retirement plans and the services offered by Ascensus Consulting, including Compliance and Recordkeeping services.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of thriving under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Polished presentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Superior conflict resolution capabilities.

• Proven project management experience.

• Outstanding coaching and mentoring skills.

• Superior time management abilities.

• Willingness to travel, if necessary.
