Manager, Financial Planning – Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the funding, budgeting, and forecasting processes for solar projects.

• Deliver a comprehensive business outlook to facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Act as a vital link among project development, operations, Project Finance, and commercial strategy teams under executive guidance.

• Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Board approval.

• Generate managerial performance reports that track P&L, operating assets, KPIs, and project expenditures.

• Predict corporate and project-level cash flows to manage liquidity and timing of equity drawdowns.

• Administer loan and letter of credit facilities, intercompany loans, and corporate guarantees.

• Collaborate with operating Asset Management teams on financial performance, liquidity assessments, and distributions.

• Engage with and implement new tools and applications for FP&A, accounting, and finance process enhancement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, engineering, or a quantitative field.

• Over 5 years of experience in renewable energy finance, FP&A in Energy, project finance, or construction.

• Highly driven, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Capability to establish immediate credibility at all levels both inside and outside the organization.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Innovative problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.

• Proficient in collaborating with multiple teams to foster consensus-based decision-making.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Co-Pilot.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, and AI applications like Claude.

• A stable background or understanding of accounting practices is preferred.

• Authorization to work in the United States must be addressed in the application.
