Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute data models and frameworks that connect operational KPIs and shared services metrics to financial results.

• Convert performance drivers into actionable financial insights.

• Create and uphold frameworks for analyzing and reporting fixed versus variable costs.

• Establish systems and processes to track cost behavior across various departments.

• Enhance forecasting and budgeting methodologies by incorporating real-time operational data.

• Identify, monitor, and report the financial implications of operational KPIs in collaboration with department leaders.

• Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new financial planning system.

• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Clinical Services, and other business units to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational realities.

• Foster the adoption of new financial practices and tools.

• Assist in change management, capability development, system adoption, and data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial systems, or finance transformation roles, preferably within healthcare or managed care sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities, including experience with large datasets, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.

• High proficiency in financial planning systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle, or Workday Adaptive Planning.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, particularly in financial system implementations and process enhancements.

• Comprehensive understanding of fixed versus variable cost structures, KPI frameworks, and performance management.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.

• Comfortable navigating change and uncertainty in a rapidly growing environment.

• Must be available to work during PST hours.
