This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Direct the design, development, and implementation of worldwide education and training initiatives that align with commercial and product strategies.
• Partner with Commercial Education, Professional Education, US Sales, Regional Marketing, and cross-functional leaders to execute comprehensive training plans.
• Enhance field sales readiness in areas such as spine anatomy, procedures, clinical concepts, products, enabling technologies, business practices, and selling techniques.
• Evaluate learner competency, maintain training documentation, and provide readiness sign-off or certification.
• Provide hands-on training for Core and Enabling Technologies in both clinical and non-clinical environments, including intra-operative support and lab experiences.
• Develop customized learning pathways that facilitate the adoption of the DePuy Synthes Spine Core portfolio and Enabling Technologies.
• Customize hands-on training events in collaboration with Professional Education and healthcare provider faculty.
• Manage logistics for training events, ensuring equipment readiness, venue requirements, and inventory planning are met.
• Lead the on-site preparation and delivery of training events.
• Continuously enhance training content and educational resources by utilizing real-world clinical use cases.
• Integrate procedural standards and best practices into training materials alongside R&D, Marketing, and Franchise Medical Directors.
• Mentor sales teams on clinical positioning and portfolio application.
• Oversee inventory management of reusable and single-use training instruments and technologies.
• Assist in international market portfolio and technology launches in collaboration with global team members.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required (e.g., Business, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field).
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the Spine Medical Device industry, with expertise in Sales, Education, Marketing, or a combination of these areas.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in supporting Spine Enabling Technologies, including Navigation, Robotics, and/or Augmented Reality (AR), in the operating room setting.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and managing comprehensive learning initiatives.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to convert business and customer needs into effective education strategies.
• Experience working with global teams and diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset with a background in using KPIs to assess program effectiveness.
• This field-based position can be performed remotely from any location within the United States, provided the candidate is located near a major airport.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required (if applicable).
• Travel requirements: 40–60 percent, both domestic and international.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in spine, orthopedics, or medical device portfolios.
• Preferred familiarity with clinical settings and surgeon education.
• Preferred experience with digital learning platforms and advanced instructional design techniques.
• Preferred background in managing global education programs.
• Preferred experience in project management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
