This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of global education and training programs that align with commercial and product strategies.
• Collaborate with teams from Commercial Education, Professional Education, US Sales, Regional Marketing, R&D, Digital/Commercial, and other cross-functional leaders.
• Enhance internal sales readiness regarding spine anatomy, procedures, clinical concepts, products, enabling technologies, business practices, and selling skills.
• Evaluate learners for competency, maintain training records, and provide certification and readiness sign-off.
• Conduct hands-on training for Core and Enabling Technology in both clinical and non-clinical environments, including intra-operative support and lab-based experiences.
• Offer training assistance to physicians and operating-room staff when necessary.
• Develop personalized learning pathways to facilitate the adoption of the DePuy Synthes Spine Core portfolio and Enabling Technologies.
• Customize hands-on training events in partnership with Professional Education and healthcare professional faculty.
• Manage logistics for training events, equipment readiness, venue requirements, and inventory planning.
• Lead the on-site preparation and execution of training events.
• Continuously enhance training content and educational materials using real-world clinical scenarios.
• Integrate procedural standards and best practices into training materials.
• Mentor the sales team on clinical positioning and portfolio application.
• Oversee the management of reusable and single-use training instruments and technology inventory.
• Assist in the preparation for international market portfolio and technology launches.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required (e.g., Business, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field).
• At least 6 years of experience in the Spine Medical Device industry, with proficiency in Sales, Education, Marketing, or a combination of these areas.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in supporting Spine Enabling Technologies, including Navigation, Robotics, and/or Augmented Reality (AR), in the operating room setting.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and managing comprehensive learning initiatives.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to convert business and customer needs into effective educational strategies.
• Experience working with global teams and a diverse range of audiences.
• Analytical mindset with experience utilizing KPIs to assess program effectiveness.
• This role is field-based and can be performed remotely from any location within the United States, provided the candidate is near a major airport.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with clinical environments and surgeon education is preferred.
• Experience with digital learning platforms and advanced instructional design methods is preferred.
• Exposure to global education program management is preferred.
• Project management experience in complex, cross-functional initiatives is preferred.
• Experience in supporting commercial or product launches is preferred.
• Background in medical education or healthcare training environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are preferred.
• Travel commitment of 40–60 percent, both domestically and internationally.
• A valid driver’s license is required, if applicable.
