This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the daily physical operations, maintenance, and safety protocols of corporate facilities.
• Coordinate and manage the installation, inspection, and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire/life safety systems, UPS, PDU, switchgear, generators, and cooling infrastructure equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to guarantee continuous operation and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Oversee employees, vendors, and contractors, ensuring their work aligns with site specifications, deadlines, documentation requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Maintain facility logs, equipment manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hazardous material handling guidelines, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor BMS/DCIM tools, escalating and resolving alarms or issues as needed.
• Assist internal teams with deployments, installations, and physical infrastructure service requests.
• Act as the escalation point for after-hours facility events and critical incidents.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mission-critical environments, such as data centers, hospitals, or high-availability industrial facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, emergency power systems, electrical distribution, and fire suppression techniques.
• Proven experience supervising technicians and/or contractors in high-uptime environments.
• Familiarity with UPS systems, power distribution units, transfer switches, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and equipment schematics.
• EPA 608 certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of DCIM, BMS, or maintenance platforms such as ServiceNow, MCIM, or Corrigo.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to facility emergencies after hours.
• Experience with rapid data center buildouts or greenfield site launches.
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure automation tools, including SCADA and PLC systems.
• Background working in hybrid environments with both cloud and on-premises computing.
• Capability to create and implement Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures (SOPs/EOPs).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional responses during facility-related incidents.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance standards related to power and cooling systems.
