This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with selected global function leaders on communications that support strategic priorities, organizational transformations, and business changes.
• Create executive messaging, presentations, talking points, and communications for leaders.
• Assist in planning and executing change communications to enhance employee understanding, adoption, and engagement.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on messaging, timing, target audiences, and channel strategies.
• Prepare leaders for communication opportunities with clear, engaging, and audience-centric content.
• Oversee communications planning and execution for IT initiatives, operational updates, and transformation projects.
• Manage the creation of content, conduct stakeholder reviews, obtain approvals, and ensure distribution.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders, subject matter experts, and Communications Champions.
• Organize and support the IT Communications Champions Network.
• Develop internal communications across InVantive, Viva Engage, newsletters, and various communication campaigns.
• Simplify complex business and technical subjects into clear, employee-oriented communications.
• Identify and craft stories that showcase progress, innovation, key initiatives, and impact.
• Support the development of organizational narratives and messaging frameworks.
• Ensure consistent messaging, sequencing, and alignment with audiences across multiple channels.
• Create and manage integrated communications plans, calendars, workflows, and deliverables.
• Coordinate content reviews, approvals, publishing, and dissemination.
• Evaluate communication effectiveness and collect feedback from stakeholders.
• Adhere to communication standards, governance, and best practices.
• Assist in measuring and reporting on communication reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, Organizational Communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, change communications, employee engagement, or related fields.
• Proven experience in supporting internal, executive, or change communications, preferably in a complex or matrixed organization.
• Expertise in developing and implementing communications plans that facilitate organizational change, transformation, or adoption initiatives.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and content development abilities.
• Capacity to articulate complex business and technical concepts into clear, persuasive communications.
• Experience managing various stakeholders, timelines, and communication channels.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
