Manager, Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main evaluator for March of Dimes programs, interventions, activities, and initiatives.

• Design and execute evaluation activities across various programs and initiatives.

• Create evidence-based logic models, evaluation plans, and tools tailored for different contexts.

• Conduct and analyze mixed-methods data to evaluate needs, reach, process, and outcomes.

• Oversee data collection, cleaning, and quality assurance processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure evaluation aligns with program goals and integrates findings.

• Support internal data tracking systems to monitor outputs and outcomes.

• Generate actionable reports and presentations utilizing data visualization techniques.

• Present and disseminate evaluation findings both internally and externally.

• Provide evaluation training and technical assistance to staff members.

• Share insights and best practices across teams to promote a learning culture.

• Implement innovative, equity-centered evaluation methodologies.

• Convert evaluation findings into recommendations for program enhancement and strategic decisions.

• Report directly to the Director of Evaluation.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A Master’s degree in Public Health from an accredited program, or a related field, is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in program evaluation, ideally in public health or nonprofit contexts.

• Experience in designing and conducting mixed-methods evaluations.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across interdisciplinary teams.

• A strong commitment to maternal and infant health equity.

• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative software, such as SAS, Power BI, HyperRESEARCH, SurveyMonkey, and Qualtrics.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as virtual collaboration tools.

• Experience in developing logic models, evaluation plans, and data collection instruments.

• Strong technical writing and data visualization abilities.

• Familiarity with data equity principles and community-based evaluation practices.

• Ability to distill complex findings into clear, compelling recommendations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• A collaborative team player with a proactive problem-solving approach.

• Adaptability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to build trust and credibility with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
