Manager, Enterprise Reimbursement – Net Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance of all WVUHS hospitals with both state and federal reimbursement regulations.

• Oversee the preparation and analytical assessment of Medicare Cost Reports, WV HCA filings, and various other reimbursement submissions.

• Review reimbursement regulations and communicate the financial implications of regulatory changes.

• Liaise with external auditors, third-party payors, and WV HCA staff on financial matters.

• Coordinate the development of net revenue budgets.

• Monitor gross and net revenue, including contractual obligations, bad debt, and charity reserves.

• Manage changes in payment requirements and assess their effects on financial reporting and statements.

• Analyze and oversee the financial terms associated with managed care contracts.

• Ensure accurate reimbursement assumptions are integrated into long-range financial planning.

• Coordinate projects aimed at revenue enhancement.

• Collaborate with legal counsel and the fiscal intermediary on issues related to Medicare appeals.

• Develop programs for staff development and orientation.

• Monitor and document staff performance, applying rewards or disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Encourage staff motivation and achievement of departmental goals.

• Provide leadership and guidance to professional staff while maintaining effective interdepartmental communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, focusing on Accounting or Finance.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare finance or accounting.

• In-depth knowledge of third-party reimbursement regulations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in personal computer applications; proficiency in Excel is preferred.
