This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of 51 enrollment specialists responsible for government and commercial payer enrollment.

• Establish a management structure of leads and supervisors while defining escalation pathways.

• Organize and prioritize daily tasks, workflows, deadlines, and accountability standards.

• Take ownership of root-cause analysis for denied enrollment applications and implement process improvements.

• Ensure payers are accountable for turnaround times and follow-up; escalate any stalled or at-risk applications.

• Act as the primary point of contact between Enrollment and internal client-facing programs.

• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management, Sales, Payer Contracting, Medical Staff Credentialing, and Compliance/Legal teams.

• Assist in the development and management of a Jira ticketing workflow.

• Monitor and report on team throughput, application volume, and trends in denial/approval rates.

• Mentor and develop the team, establish goals, manage performance, and facilitate career advancement.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in provider/payer enrollment, credentialing, or payer relations, with direct involvement with both government (Medicare/Medicaid) and commercial payers.

• At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising a large operational team, ideally with 25 or more staff members.

• Proven experience managing through subordinate leads or supervisors.

• Direct experience in telehealth is strongly preferred.

• Background in managing multi-state or multi-region private practice enrollment.

• Knowledge of the distinctions between commercial, Medicaid, and Medicaid Advantage enrollment processes.

• Experience in analyzing denial and process data to pinpoint root causes.

• Familiarity with enrollment and credentialing systems like MDStaff, CAQH, and PECOS.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of establishing processes and structure in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated experience in people leadership, including performance management and team development.

• Experience with CAQH, PECOS, and/or similar credentialing and enrollment databases.
