This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) dedicated to enhancing Developer Experience and Engineering Productivity.
• Establish the long-term strategy for developer tools throughout Sprout.
• Propel the advancement of the Continuous Delivery platform, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Spearhead modernization initiatives for CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to create secure-by-default engineering workflows.
• Direct the technical roadmap for internal platforms that facilitate software development, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Promote best practices in automation, reliability, testing, and operational maturity.
• Enhance software delivery performance utilizing DORA metrics and engineering health indicators.
• Enable AI-assisted engineering workflows and autonomous development tools.
• Prioritize enhancements that boost developer velocity.
• Support infrastructure projects, including deployment platforms, release management, observability, source control automation, and internal developer portals.
• Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative engineering culture.
• Oversee planning, roadmap creation, cross-functional initiatives, platform adoption, and team career development.
• 3-5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• 7+ years of experience in building and operating production software systems.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional technical initiatives across various engineering organizations.
• Proficient in designing and managing CI/CD systems and contemporary software delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience in enhancing engineering productivity through automation.
• Candidates must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario, Canada.
