This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development of software-enabled hardware initiatives and create and deliver software products.
• Incorporate software workflow solutions into the overarching company product roadmap.
• Evaluate both customer and business value to formulate a prioritized software roadmap.
• Determine prioritization trade-offs between strategic feature innovation and enhancements to the core platform.
• Develop business cases for software investments, including ROI, adoption metrics, and hardware-influenced business models.
• Investigate innovative software solutions and market opportunities alongside the Product Planning team.
• Establish best practices, processes, templates, success metrics, and release schedules for software workflow products.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on customer value, feature specifications, scoping, and backlog prioritization.
• Lead the cadence for roadmap prioritization and convey priorities and trade-offs to leadership.
• Define ideal customer profiles, sales processes, pricing structures, and tiered offerings for integrated hardware/software solutions.
• Create sales enablement materials and support the sales organization through coaching.
• Mentor customer success and sales engineering teams on nurturing during the pre-sale phase and executing post-sale implementations.
• Identify and address friction points in onboarding, adoption, and change management.
• Collect customer feedback and usage data to enhance product definition and implementation methodologies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams globally.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software product management, specifically managing workflow software products.
• Proven experience in guiding software products through transformative growth phases.
• Strong comprehension of B2B sales processes, particularly regarding integrated hardware/software solutions.
• Experience in developing or scaling best practices for software product management.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities, with a track record of working across global teams and time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally.
• MBA or equivalent strategic experience is preferred.
• Background in the medical device, industrial, or other hardware-centric industries undergoing digital product transformation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IoT, connected devices, or embedded systems is preferred.
