This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Build and manage a team of Delivery Solution Architects.
β’ Lead the technical strategy post-sales for Public Sector clients.
β’ Develop and oversee the regional execution strategy for post-sales in collaboration with Sales, pre-sales, professional services, and partners.
β’ Report directly to the regional Senior Manager, DSA.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and pre-sales managers to make regional investment decisions.
β’ Define and advocate for the DSA value proposition.
β’ Act as a technical sponsor and thought leader for selected clients.
β’ Recruit, mentor, and develop Delivery Solution Architects.
β’ Oversee team objectives related to customer usage growth, career advancement, and recruitment efforts.
β’ Ensure the team's expertise in Databricks technology and the Data+AI ecosystem remains advanced.
β’ Assign accounts and allocate work to optimize customer engagement and team efficiency.
β’ Foster relationships with Sales, pre-sales, professional services, and other cross-functional teams.
β’ Mitigate customer risk, assist in escalations, and resolve issues or obstacles.
β’ Track customer progress and project future growth.
β’ Enhance internal processes, operational effectiveness, and organization-wide initiatives.
β’ Maintain a strong hiring pipeline.
β’ Contribute to resources that strengthen the Delivery Solution Architecture practice and enhance customer effectiveness and consistency.
β’ U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for supporting Public Sector clients).
β’ Over 7 years of proven experience in a customer-facing position.
β’ Demonstrated experience in delivering SaaS Technologies, especially in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, ETL, Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science.
β’ Experience in building and leading post-sales technical teams, encompassing hiring, onboarding, and equipping post-sales professionals.
β’ Act as a trusted advisor to technical executives in guiding strategic decisions for data project delivery.
β’ Proven ability to lead teams through architecture discussions, use-case implementations, project plans, and customer growth strategies.
β’ Experience in cultivating collaborative relationships between Field Engineering, Sales, and internal partners.
β’ Background in delivering and deploying workloads or data products into production, such as in roles like delivery architect, project manager, DevOps, or service/product owner.
β’ Familiarity with customer business challenges and big data applications across various industries.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 30% within the D.C. Metro area.
