Manager, Deep Learning Algorithms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee engineering efforts pertaining to the productization of Deep Learning models

• Guide and mentor engineering teams

• Manage activities and collaborations with teams throughout NVIDIA

• Align objectives with internal partners across relevant departments

• Create strategic roadmaps for highly optimized numerical, analytics, and deep learning algorithms

• Plan, schedule, mentor, and direct the execution of team projects and initiatives

• Develop, optimize, and implement training and inference workloads for deep learning

• Work alongside internal clients to coordinate priorities across business units

• Manage projects across various geographic locations

• Cultivate and grow a top-tier team

• Travel occasionally to attend conferences, visit different sites, or meet with customers

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in management or leadership, or an equivalent mix of advanced education and experience

• Proven experience leading multiple software engineering projects

• Strong skills or experience in algorithms and deep learning

• Exceptional programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with deep learning model inference

• Background in performance analysis and optimization

• Familiarity with hardware architecture, preferably with accelerators, and numerical software

• Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA or Microsoft Project
