This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with Oxfam International InfoSec, affiliate infrastructure teams, business units, personnel, applications, vendors, and consultants.
• Direct and uphold stable, secure, and scalable IT systems.
• Work alongside the Managed Security Services Provider to monitor and address cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee security incident response, investigation, documentation, analysis, and remediation processes.
• Uphold security policies, standards, privacy practices, and acceptable-use guidelines.
• Manage firewalls, VPN access, endpoint protection, backups, disaster recovery, and security audits.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests, implementing necessary remediations.
• Keep infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, system architecture, configuration standards, asset inventories, and procedures up to date.
• Supervise both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, networks, servers, backups, endpoints, Microsoft Intune, and O365.
• Lead patch management, infrastructure upgrades, and enhancements.
• Optimize audiovisual equipment and conference-room technologies for hybrid and in-person meetings.
• Manage helpdesk operations, ticket management, escalations, end-user tools, account provisioning, and access controls.
• Acquire IT hardware and software, negotiate vendor quotes, and oversee IT asset inventories and lifecycles.
• BA or BS in Information Technology or Computer Science, or a comparable mix of experience, education, and training.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles, including team and vendor management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of networking principles, firewalls like Meraki, endpoint protection, O365, Azure, and Intune.
• Expertise in security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and familiarity with SIEM tools.
• Practical experience with ticketing systems such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with audiovisual systems for conference rooms.
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Capability to work independently and apply strategic thinking with technical proficiency.
• Expert-level understanding of data, information, and security standards, policies, and architecture.
• Skills in contract and vendor negotiation and relationship management.
• Experience in researching, evaluating, and proposing technology strategies.
• Background in creating, modifying, and producing policy and procedural documentation.
• Proven track record in implementing technology systems and facilitating communication between IT and business partners.
• Preferred: experience in supporting non-profit, advocacy, or international development organizations.
• Preferred: familiarity with Azure, AWS, PaaS, SaaS, O365, Box, and integrations.
• Preferred: knowledge of PCI, PII, GDPR, HIPAA, and related privacy and security practices.
• Preferred: Azure, cybersecurity, or ITIL certification.
• Required: satisfactory references and appropriate pre-employment checks.
