Manager, Corporate Development – Investor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate relationships with founders, executives, investors, and advisors that align with M&A objectives.

• Create acquisition theses and conduct market analyses for targeted acquisition priorities.

• Establish connections with relevant companies, investors, and stakeholders.

• Oversee the development of business cases for potential acquisitions.

• Manage financial modeling and lead valuation and structuring processes.

• Spearhead deal execution, including the negotiation of LOIs and definitive agreements, due diligence, and integration planning.

• Collaborate with Strategy & Operations and functional leaders to set up integration governance.

• Lead both quarterly and ad hoc reporting for the Board of Directors and investors.

• Enhance investor engagement efforts.

• Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings and investor updates.

• Build cross-functional partnerships to identify and align on strategic priorities.

• Strengthen the Corporate Development and Investor Relations brand as a trusted advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in transactional roles both in-house, such as Corporate Development, and as an advisor, including investment banking, consulting, and/or investing.

• Proven history of forging relationships with founders, executives, and investors.

• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in technology, particularly AI, business strategy, and finance.

• Experience in utilizing generative AI for research, analysis, and communication purposes.

• Established reputation for quality, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive initiative.

• Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across various departments.

• Willingness to take a hands-on approach to ensure deal success.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication abilities.

• A good sense of humor.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
