This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Draft and negotiate agreements for work orders, change orders, loan equipment, non-disclosure, and requests for proposals.
β’ Review, revise, and manage contracts that support consulting, suppliers, distributors, clinical services, and other non-standard agreements.
β’ Escalate intricate legal and factual issues to the Legal team and assist in resolving these matters.
β’ Oversee the management of the contract lifecycle, which includes maintaining contract files, managing the contract request system, tracking deliverables, and generating reports.
β’ Collaborate with business teams to prepare and finalize CDA and NDA agreements.
β’ Lead the onboarding and training process for new Contract Managers.
β’ Educate internal stakeholders on contract management systems and related processes.
β’ Facilitate weekly and monthly contract status meetings as necessary.
β’ Prepare contract summaries and ensure agreements are executed in accordance with company policies and service level standard turnaround times.
β’ Support business contract requests and monitor execution timelines.
β’ Obtain necessary internal approvals for contract terms and provisions prior to execution.
β’ Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
β’ Bachelorβs degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech contract management or clinical budget management.
β’ Experience in vendor negotiations and interactions with CROs.
β’ Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
β’ Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively across various functions.
β’ Proven understanding of contract lifecycle management processes, including drafting, review, approval workflows, and execution.
β’ Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory requirements that affect R&D contracts (e.g., GxP, Sunshine Act, data privacy considerations).
β’ Experience working collaboratively across departments, including Legal, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, and R&D stakeholders.
β’ Ability to identify contractual risks and escalate them appropriately.
β’ Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple contracts and deadlines concurrently.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β’ Experience in supporting audits or compliance reviews related to contracting activities.
β’ Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
