Manager, Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct field-level construction execution for Services projects.

• Oversee construction readiness, manage field team members, coordinate subcontractors, ensure field safety alignment, and sequence execution.

• Inspect and monitor work execution to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality processes and standards, customer requirements, and industry benchmarks.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to create construction execution plans and timelines that align with the project schedule, scope, and budget.

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel effectively.

• Work in partnership with engineering teams, customers, sales agents, project management, and internal leadership.

• Monitor costs associated with construction, identify variances, and facilitate corrective measures.

• Supervise construction execution from mobilization through to commissioning and testing phases.

• Address on-site construction challenges, modify execution plans as needed, and escalate risks appropriately.

• Provide feedback from the field and promote consistent construction execution practices across HV projects.

• Manage a team of 10 or more direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Specialized Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Construction Management, Field Operations, or Project Management roles.

• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, up to 75% of the time.

• Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies.

• Ability to work various shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

• Capability to work in extreme heat/cold, at heights or elevated platforms, in confined spaces, and around dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, and loud noise.

• Proficient in using necessary personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, safety shoes, safety vests, and radios/walkie-talkies.
