Manager, Competitive Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and analysis, including project management, for corporate strategy initiatives.

• Present research findings and analyses to various levels of company management.

• Deliver comprehensive research and analysis that supports Sales & Marketing initiatives, Key Intelligence Topics, and industry-disrupting trends.

• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that distributed intelligence is actionable and timely.

• Utilize both primary and secondary research to create and sustain strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners, and designated intelligence topics.

• Aid in the distribution of intelligence through presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and documentation for the Board.

• Identify and maintain a database of pertinent primary and secondary research sources, including industry analysts, market research firms, and conferences.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics is required.

• A minimum of two (2) years in management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning, and/or strategic initiatives is required.

• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience is preferred.

• A Master's degree is preferred, such as an MBA, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Excellent executive presence and influential communication skills.

• Capability to lead and manage others.

• Proven leadership abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Flexibility to adapt and a self-driven approach to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient multitasking abilities, highly organized, with exceptional time management skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.

• Travel requirement: 0-10%.
