This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary contact for designated clients, coders, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee both onshore and offshore coding resources, which includes payroll management and task allocation.
• Track workload and employee productivity to ensure compliance with SLAs and contractual commitments.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of coding services, which encompasses recruiting and hiring personnel.
• Conduct or supervise coding, quality assessments, and various middle revenue cycle services.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to processes and operational procedures.
• Compile and present weekly reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate business status reports and deliver presentations to clients.
• Align coding personnel with project objectives and goals.
• Provide mentorship and training to internal coding staff.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures for the department.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, coders, and revenue cycle management teams.
• Assess coding productivity, quality benchmarks, DNFC goals, and service-level agreements.
• Organize coder mentorship, coding education, training, and professionalism initiatives.
• AHIMA/AAPC Credentials.
• A minimum of five years of coding experience.
• At least three years of experience in employee and client management in a remote setting.
• Extensive knowledge of coding practices and comprehensive revenue cycle management services.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in a professional context.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks while juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment, utilizing critical thinking.
• Strong managerial, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding organizational capabilities.
• A team-oriented mindset with a readiness to contribute to the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Windows products.
