This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of Clinical Science & Site Educators.
β’ Establish priorities, allocate site responsibilities, and supervise daily team operations.
β’ Ensure uniform, high-quality scientific and protocol education is delivered across all sites.
β’ Facilitate team performance, professional growth, and onboarding processes.
β’ Oversee and take part in training for investigators and site staff on protocols, indications, rating scales, and mechanisms of action.
β’ Ensure that sites comprehend the scientific rationale, endpoints, eligibility criteria, and safety considerations.
β’ Supervise the creation and upkeep of educational materials for sites.
β’ Provide continuous scientific support while reinforcing GCP, protocol adherence, and data integrity.
β’ Direct site education and engagement initiatives for assigned studies.
β’ Identify specific knowledge gaps, recruitment obstacles, and support requirements at sites.
β’ Collaborate with Clinical Operations on Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), investigator meetings, refresher training sessions, and focused site support.
β’ Assist in enrollment efforts by educating on patient identification, eligibility criteria, protocol specifics, and referral pathways.
β’ Maintain direct communication with sites and external stakeholders as required.
β’ Collaborate with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Data Management, and other Alto teams.
β’ Aggregate site and team insights and communicate recurring trends, risks, and opportunities to study teams.
β’ Contribute site-focused insights to the development of protocols, amendments, and study materials.
β’ Ensure consistent scientific and protocol messaging throughout the educator team.
β’ Develop and uphold consistent site education tools, processes, and best practices.
β’ Collect feedback from sites and the educator team to enhance training and support.
β’ Remain informed about therapeutic area advancements, competitive landscapes, and regulatory expectations.
β’ Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, GCP standards, and site operations.
β’ Experience in facilitating clinical trial recruitment, patient identification, and referral processes.
β’ Exceptional presentation, communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
β’ Capability to convert complex scientific concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
β’ Proficient in managing competing priorities and coordinating across various functions and stakeholders.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel over 50% of the time.
β’ Access to a major metropolitan airport is necessary.
β’ Flexible, growth-oriented, solution-focused, and results-driven mindset.
β’ Direct experience in psychiatric clinical care and/or roles such as Clinical Scientist, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Trial Educator, or similar positions.
β’ Experience in training investigators and site staff in interventional clinical trials.
β’ Knowledge of CNS, particularly in psychiatry.
β’ Familiarity with virtual training platforms and learning management systems.
β’ Previous experience in people management, team leadership, or demonstrated coaching abilities.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in psychiatric clinical care, clinical research, clinical science, medical affairs, or site education.
β’ Required clinical research experience.
β’ An advanced degree is highly preferred (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS, PA, NP, RN, MSW) in life sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline.
