This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the financial management and forecasting for the client portfolio.
β’ Supervise monthly project accounting and lead status meetings with project managers.
β’ Manage new contract engagements and evaluate contract/project setup.
β’ Provide guidance to the Client Finance team on project tracking, budgets, and funds.
β’ Report and present project financials to leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Handle new client setup, review MSAs, and collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams.
β’ Coordinate with finance teams on intercompany revenue/cost transactions and contract execution.
β’ Ensure compliance of project revenue with client contracts and proper revenue recognition under GAAP.
β’ Prepare monthly revenue forecasts and compare results with budgets and plans.
β’ Oversee project hours, expenses, roles, rates, invoicing, accruals, and follow-up on accounts receivable.
β’ Analyze business development opportunities and project revenue variances.
β’ Manage project costs, subcontractor expenses, and subcontractor agreements.
β’ Review general ledger reconciliations, expense reports, invoices, credit card bookings, and intercompany transactions.
β’ Assist with annual budgeting and ad hoc financial analysis.
β’ Manage audit timelines, communications, supporting documentation, and schedules.
β’ Reassess processes and lead improvements in policies and procedures for greater efficiency.
β’ Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages for executive management.
β’ Advise staff on best practices in client finance and non-routine transactions.
β’ Manage and mentor direct reports and junior staff in their career development.
β’ Bachelor's degree with a strong concentration in accounting, finance, or business.
β’ 6+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 2β3 years in a supervisory capacity.
β’ Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
β’ Experience in an agency or professional services environment is a plus.
β’ Experience with month-end close processes.
β’ Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
β’ Experience in project accounting.
β’ Client services or client-facing experience.
