This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Key Account Managers who are responsible for strategic relationships with aerospace OEMs and tier customers.
• Direct and synchronize regional sales roles throughout the Americas.
• Formulate and implement a commercial sales strategy targeting aerospace OEMs and tier customers.
• Enhance executive-level relationships with aerospace OEMs, tier suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Propel growth through platform opportunities, design-ins, specification victories, qualifications, production programs, and market share increases.
• Establish operational rhythms for account planning, territory planning, Salesforce.com pipeline management, forecasting, pricing discipline, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with global account teams and cross-functional departments including technical, marketing, product, quality, supply chain, and business teams.
• Track aerospace market trends, build rates, customer priorities, and platform modifications.
• Foster a culture centered on customer focus, teamwork, accountability, collaboration, talent development, and profitable growth.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, security standards, and safety protocols.
• Contribute to 3M's Environmental Health and Safety culture.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher, to be completed and verified before the start date.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, strategic account management, or commercial leadership in private, public, governmental, or military settings.
• At least seven (7) years of experience leading customer-facing teams, managing strategic accounts, overseeing regional sales organizations, or handling complex commercial programs.
• Experience with aerospace OEMs, tier suppliers, or advanced manufacturing customers.
• Proven track record in leading Key Account Managers, regional or national sales teams, or mixed commercial teams in complex markets.
• Strong comprehension of long-cycle, specification-driven sales processes.
• Capability to forge executive relationships and influence within matrixed organizations.
• Proficient in commercial, financial, negotiation, account planning, territory management, and pipeline management skills.
• Experience in talent development, coaching sales leaders, and ensuring consistent execution across strategic and regional customer segments.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Driving a company vehicle necessitates a pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history.
