This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Lead the quality management, audit, and testing initiatives for IAIC across assigned insurance operations.
• Develop and uphold a risk-based framework for quality assurance and operational audits.
• Supervise audits and evaluations related to claims, policy administration, licensing, appeals, customer service, fulfillment, and other associated functions.
• Analyze audit findings, detect trends and risks, and offer recommendations for enhancements.
• Track quality metrics and operational performance to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver reports on audit outcomes, emerging risks, and remediation efforts.
• Assist with regulatory reviews, market conduct examinations, and various carrier oversight activities.
• Collaborate with business leaders and delegated administrators to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and carrier obligations.
• Manage the planning, execution, and validation of corrective actions.
• Assess operational processes, controls, workflows, and system improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Aid in the testing and validation of new processes, technologies, and regulatory updates.
• Maintain policies, procedures, audit standards, and training materials related to quality management.
• Act as a point of escalation for significant quality, compliance, and operational risk matters.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Quality Management team.
• Oversee team priorities, workload, and performance to ensure the timely completion of audits and reviews.
• Provide support for hiring, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning.
• Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in insurance operations, quality assurance, auditing, compliance, claims, policy administration, or related areas.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
• Proven track record in managing quality assurance, audit, compliance monitoring, or operational testing programs.
• Strong comprehension of insurance operations and delegated oversight environments.
• Experience in evaluating operational controls, identifying risks, and executing process enhancements.
• Ability to analyze data, resolve complex issues, and communicate insights to leadership.
• Preferred experience in supporting carrier operations and delegated authority programs.
• Preferred experience working with third-party administrators, vendors, or external business partners.
• Preferred experience in managing corrective action plans, remediation efforts, and operational risk initiatives.
• Preferred experience in supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or compliance assessments.
• Professional certifications related to auditing, compliance, quality management, or insurance are preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of insurance operations, quality assurance, auditing, compliance, and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
