This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive product utilization in key Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems within the cardiovascular brand portfolio.
• Formulate and execute strategic business plans for identified top Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems.
• Foster institutional advocacy to facilitate formulary acceptance of cardiovascular brands.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement programs tailored to institutional needs.
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and partners in administrative, clinical, operational, and financial sectors.
• Enhance pathways, transitions of care, treatment protocols, and workflow enablement.
• Conduct regular customer needs assessments and relay insights and activities.
• Identify and establish injection sites that align with account archetypes and pathways.
• Collaborate with administrative stakeholders and cross-functional teams to integrate workflows and EMR.
• Utilize knowledge of inpatient and outpatient reimbursement, market economics, access models, payment programs, and industry trends.
• Stay informed about Novartis pricing options and communicate with account administrators.
• Create and sustain targeted, institution-specific business plans in collaboration with local partners.
• Anticipate and tackle business opportunities and challenges across disease states, marketplaces, competitors, industries, and cross-functional activities.
• Deliver product and disease state presentations to physicians and healthcare staff.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and revise business plans.
• Assist team members in identifying business opportunities and diagnosing issues within assigned accounts and healthcare systems.
• Travel throughout the assigned geography and drive/fly within the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries, or other complex environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors.
• 2+ years of experience in specialty buy-and-bill.
• 2+ years of experience managing complex accounts, including major academic centers and hospitals.
• Extensive knowledge of the cardiovascular community.
• Proven track record of expertise in therapeutic areas and product knowledge.
• Experience in developing strategic account plans within a matrix environment.
• Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and strong business acumen.
• Proficiency in technology and digital engagement.
• Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Ability to travel 60–80% across a broad geography.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Driving is a critical component of this role.
• Must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate COVID-19 vaccination.
• Successful completion of initial training, which includes home study, of eight or fewer hours per day and forty or fewer hours per week.
