This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.
β’ Oversee the daily operations of a team focused on creating enterprise-level data assets, reports, visualizations, dashboards, metrics, and data extracts.
β’ Facilitate both quantitative and qualitative analyses that address significant business challenges and inquiries.
β’ Recruit, retain, and empower team members through a supportive and collaborative approach.
β’ Lead the BICOE enablement team and enhance Centene's analyst community as it transitions to AI-driven analytics.
β’ Cultivate influential relationships throughout the organization and provide guidance on practical solutions in technical discussions.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs.
β’ Oversee the complete design and development of scalable, reliable solutions while ensuring governance of departmental processes and patterns.
β’ Supervise assigned personnel and manage departmental operations.
β’ Direct, guide, and review team efforts to guarantee successful operational results.
β’ Ensure that policies, practices, and procedures are clearly understood and adhered to.
β’ Develop and refine procedures, lead change initiatives, and operationalize strategic goals.
β’ Ensure tasks are completed within set budgets and timelines.
β’ Design, develop, implement, and provide training for end-users on business intelligence and analytical solutions.
β’ Identify technological opportunities impacting enterprise-wide BI systems.
β’ Manage data solutions throughout the entire software/solution development life cycle.
β’ Hire and train staff, conduct performance evaluations, and offer leadership, technical guidance, and coaching.
β’ Enhance staff capabilities and communicate organizational objectives effectively.
β’ Inspire and motivate team members to achieve desired outcomes.
β’ Adhere to all established policies and standards.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflective of the position's level.
β’ A Master's Degree is preferred.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
β’ Sponsorship or future sponsorship is not available, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.
β’ Experience with one or more of the following: Power BI platform onboarding and governance; Snowflake-based analytics environments; advanced SQL and analytical problem-solving; enterprise reporting and BI strategy; large-scale BI or analytics platform migrations; user adoption and organizational change management; executive stakeholder management; leading technical and business teams through transformation initiatives; data catalog and metadata platforms; AI-enabled analytics and Copilot adoption; healthcare analytics environments.
