This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather intricate business requirements.
• Convert ambiguous business needs into comprehensive, technical data specifications.
• Establish measurable KPIs that align with business objectives.
• Document data dictionaries, metric definitions, and source-to-target mappings.
• Design engaging dashboards using Power BI and QuickSight.
• Develop data models, calculated measures, and features for row-level security.
• Enhance dashboard performance to ensure quick load times for end users.
• When needed, migrate or replicate reports across AWS and Azure environments.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all published reports.
• Record dashboard metadata, metric definitions, and data lineage in Atlan.
• Train business users to effectively navigate dashboards and interpret data insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize the foundational data structures and pipelines.
• Over 3 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related role.
• Demonstrated success in leading requirement-gathering workshops with executives.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and managing Power BI premium capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS QuickSight, SPICE ingestion, calculated fields, and AWS ecosystems.
• Strong capability in writing complex SQL queries, joins, and aggregations for data validation.
• Solid understanding of star schemas, snowflake schemas, and data normalization principles.
• Exceptional aptitude for breaking down vague requests into structured logic.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills to convey data insights to non-technical colleagues.
• An obsessive focus on data accuracy and consistency in formatting.
• Relevant certifications in AWS or Microsoft, such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or PL-300, are preferred.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery is preferred.
