Manager, Business Data Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clinical support teams, product managers, and designers to convert healthcare business challenges into data and product specifications.

• Develop ETL workflows utilizing Dataiku and Python for receiving, manipulating, and populating healthcare and operational data.

• Analyze data to address stakeholder inquiries and support decisions that influence member and client outcomes.

• Research and resolve client inquiries by creating queries and analyzing data.

• Provide assistance to team members in testing, troubleshooting, and documenting their work.

• Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects.

• Share insights, offer feedback, and contribute to the team's goals and objectives.

• Engage in knowledge management initiatives to ensure that knowledge and best practices are recognized and disseminated throughout the organization.

• Help maintain a high-performance integrated culture.

• Operate as an individual contributor without any direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Over 2 years' experience with healthcare data, claims, prior authorization, or clinical operations.

• At least 4 years of experience with various SQL dialects (T-SQL, Google BigQuery, Oracle).

• A minimum of 4 years' experience using Python.

• Four or more years of experience in ETL work with Dataiku or Alteryx.

• At least 4 years in a data engineering role.

• Familiarity with project management and repository applications; Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in understanding and describing data structures.

• Bachelor's Degree is a requirement.

• Preferred: Experience in Prior Authorization or Clinical Operations.

• Preferred: Background in managing a team of coders.

• Preferred: Over 6 years with various SQL dialects (T-SQL, Google BigQuery, Oracle).

• Preferred: More than 6 years' experience with Python.

• Preferred: At least 6 years' experience in ETL work using Dataiku or Alteryx.

• Preferred: Over 6 years in a data engineering role.

• Preferred: More than 6 years using Azure DevOps and Repos for project management.

• Preferred: Experience in developing AI solutions.
