This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Plan and lead the scoping, definition of requirements, and prioritization activities for significant, intricate initiatives.
• Collect stakeholder feedback and obtain formal consensus on requirements.
• Resolve competing priorities and conflicts with stakeholders through negotiation.
• Establish baselines for requirements and oversee any changes to them.
• Examine operational requirements, challenges, and opportunities to pinpoint effective business solutions.
• Analyze stakeholder goals and business needs; explore options and establish acceptance tests.
• Conduct moderated and unmoderated assessments focused on user centricity.
• Assess system, product, or service prototypes against usability and accessibility standards.
• Execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Address problems, issues, resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and feedback effectively.
• Analyze and design business processes while identifying opportunities for automation.
• Create graphical representations of business processes and evaluate the feasibility of process changes.
• Supervise individuals and groups, assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and offer guidance.
• Establish performance goals, track progress, provide feedback, and mentor team members.
• Engage in compensation negotiations and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Oversee significant initiatives while enhancing the skills and competencies of the business analysis team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Math, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related area, or equivalent project-related experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience and knowledge of the life sciences sector.
• Background in clinical data management or programming, specifically in designing eCRFs, edit checks, and managing a study from start to finish.
• Extensive professional experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
• Knowledge of UML and object-oriented analysis.
• Data modeling in accordance with industry standards and/or other business analysis methodologies.
• Process modeling using standards like BPMN.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge and application of Root Cause Analysis.
• Expertise in scope management.
• Experience in line and leadership management.
• Awareness of best practices within the business analysis field and relevant BA professional qualifications.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple diverse tasks, prioritize workload, and operate methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting.
• Capability to delegate tasks effectively and apply critical thinking.
• Aptitude for identifying and enacting process improvements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global team context.
