This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Guide and mentor assigned Builder Account Managers through performance management, tracking of KPIs, development planning, talent assessments, coaching, training, one-on-one meetings, and market visits.
• Ensure uniform implementation of Builder Direct policies, procedures, account strategies, and sales initiatives throughout the designated territory.
• Act as the main escalation point for Single-Family and Multi-Family business requirements, addressing customer issues, conducting field site visits, organizing customer meetings, overseeing QBRs, and facilitating division rollouts.
• Evaluate business performance through reporting and key metrics, holding the team accountable for outcomes while providing transparency regarding business opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers and cross-functional teams, including Accounts Receivable, Final Mile, Warranty Service, Customer Direct, Risk Management, and Sales Operations, to enhance account execution and address business requirements.
• Manage and authorize change orders in line with established policies and procedures.
• Assist the Director of Contract Direct Sales with business planning, team initiatives, special projects, and annual meetings while identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and other business activities as needed.
• Extensive travel required throughout the assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 7 years of relevant field sales, account management, or similar experience.
• Prior experience in people management is preferred, including coaching, developing, and managing performance.
• Strong understanding of sales concepts, practices, and business processes.
• Experience in the appliance, builder, or related industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geographic territory.
