This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Develop a personal sales strategy and business plan that aligns with Teladoc Health’s corporate objectives.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with regional brokers and benefits consultants.
• Formulate and implement a territory sales strategy to enhance pipeline, partnerships, and revenue.
• Cultivate broker and consultant relationships while identifying sales opportunities within partners’ portfolios.
• Oversee proposals, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, contracts, and communications.
• Deliver a tailored strategic “Virtual First” vision to leadership teams of prospective clients.
• Meet annual sales targets.
• Enhance knowledge in the virtual healthcare sector.
• Manage a substantial pipeline across various partnerships.
• Utilize Salesforce, Adobe, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and other tools throughout the sales process.
• Educate brokers on virtual care solutions through webinars, demonstrations, and face-to-face meetings.
• Gain insights into competitors and understand Teladoc Health’s unique value proposition.
• Negotiate contracts and terms in collaboration with sales leadership and legal teams.
• Assist with renewals and participate in industry events, health fairs, and speaking engagements as required.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time.
• At least 3 years of sales experience working directly with employee benefits brokers and consultants.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
• Must reside in the Minnesota territory.
• Experience managing a multi-state territory with brokers, benefits consultants, and employers with fewer than 5,000 employees.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and a solid understanding of employer benefits, healthcare, and the broker/consultant market.
• Demonstrated history of increasing sales through exceptional results and leadership.
• Excellent communication abilities, including presentation, speaking, writing, and follow-up skills.
• Strong skills in prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation, and closing sales.
• Effective time management skills and capacity to manage a sales pipeline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to thrive in a remote sales team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
