Manager – Automation & Platform Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead tactical and operational automation projects throughout Group Operations.

• Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of automation tools, digital workflows, and reconciliation systems.

• Support the deployment and stabilization of automation solutions and platforms such as Cypher AI and DoneZie across various business units.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure uniform training, onboarding, utilization, and monitoring of tools.

• Liaise with vendors and Technology teams regarding platform enhancements, problem resolution, and alignment of roadmaps.

• Aid in documenting the advantages of automation, which includes FTE savings, reduction in errors, and improvements in turnaround times.

• Work together with GRC and internal control teams to ensure automation outcomes meet control environment standards.

• Provide data-driven insights and monthly automation performance scorecards across operational units.

• Partner closely with operations SMEs and GRC teams to sustain and enhance the automation ecosystem within the deliverables of the Central Reconciliation Unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in banking operations, ideally with a background in automation tools, platform governance, or roles focused on operational excellence.

• Solid comprehension of process automation technologies, reconciliation platforms, workflow engines, and risk-based controls.

• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management abilities.

• Practical experience with data reporting, Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or automation management systems.

• A high level of initiative, structured thinking, and ease in cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong communication skills suitable for both training sessions and governance-level reporting.
