This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee client data science and advanced analytics projects with an emphasis on successful delivery.
• Handle client communications and produce final deliverables.
• Work in collaboration with Analytics, Client Service, and channel delivery teams to establish agendas and create media optimization strategies.
• Construct internal and external timelines and project plans utilizing Agile Project Management.
• Facilitate user-story gathering, brainstorming sessions, and the development and deployment of both generalized and custom analytical tools beyond client-specific projects.
• Spearhead team-wide learning and development programs.
• Investigate and enhance statistical or econometric methodologies.
• Conduct research and development for new application or tool concepts, including MVP and proof-of-concept media science applications.
• Create tailored and productized media science solutions.
• Engage with clients and internal leadership to present analysis results.
• Assist in interpreting analytics outputs and implementing findings.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science/Management Science or a relevant quantitative discipline.
• Over 8 years of practical experience in Data Science, including at least two years in customer analytics and/or digital media.
• Solid proficiency in Python or R programming.
• Familiarity with Python libraries/modules such as pandas, NumPy, StatsModels, SciKit-learn, and Matplotlib.
• Proficient understanding of R packages including tidyverse (dplyr, tidyr, purrr, ggplot2), lme4, and shiny.
• Competent working knowledge of Git, including GitHub and BitBucket.
• Awareness of relational databases and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Comprehension of econometric and statistical frameworks such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, ARIMA, Kalman Filter, BSTS, Decision Trees, RandomForest, Factor Analysis, KNN, and K-Means.
• Capability to mentor a team, take initiative, and work independently.
• Skill in translating complex processes into terms that are client-friendly.
• Experience with marketing response models and their applications is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
