This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and nurture a team tasked with overseeing the entire Accounts Receivable and billing operations.
• Ensure prompt and precise reimbursement while achieving key performance indicators.
• Foster operational excellence through the development of team members, implementation of policies, audit management, and collaboration across functions.
• Provide daily guidance and communication to direct reports and team leaders.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service in interactions with Accounts Receivable Specialists, payors, and centers.
• Participate in the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for team members.
• Implement and sustain audits to guarantee efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness in managing outstanding Accounts Receivable accounts.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics such as days outstanding, Accounts Receivable over 90 days, and collections performance.
• Offer continuous training, coaching, and development opportunities for staff.
• Establish, implement, and uphold Accounts Receivable departmental policies.
• Track, document, and analyze departmental productivity while identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
• Inspire, engage, and support team members to promote accountability, performance, and professional growth.
• Adhere to GoHealth's core values and leadership principles.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Over 5 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
• More than 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, judgment, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare Accounts Receivable and revenue cycle processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, including professional phone etiquette.
• High attention to detail with proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.
• Solid understanding of practice management systems.
• Experience with Hospital EMR systems (Epic and/or eClinicalWorks is preferred).
• Ability to clearly communicate with patients regarding medical, financial, and policy-related issues.
• Competence in calculating patient responsibility, including deductibles and co-insurance, and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Strong grasp of medical terminology, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding.
• Capability to manage service issues professionally and ensure resolution.
• Ability to remain adaptable, focused, and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fully remote work arrangement.
