This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and monitor the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable team.
• Supervise client inventory, ensuring timely and accurate account management and achievement of collection objectives.
• Coordinate follow-up tasks and guarantee balanced work distribution among team members.
• Ensure adherence to quality and productivity standards while addressing any performance-related issues.
• Confirm that supervisors perform timely and accurate monitoring of productivity and quality.
• Document and enforce policies and procedures specific to each client.
• Keep track of client accounts receivable and proactively tackle any performance deficiencies.
• Address inquiries from both external and internal clients efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports and logs, including monthly reports for clients.
• Oversee Smartfeed assignments within the MPower Workflow system and escalate any issues as needed.
• Review contract pricing and escalate any identified concerns to leadership and contract management.
• Stay informed about healthcare issues and regulatory requirements.
• Provide necessary training, monitoring, feedback, and disciplinary measures when required.
• Monitor team attendance and utilization of paid time off (PTO).
• Disable remote client access for employees who have been terminated or transferred when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security, HIPAA, and policies regarding the handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Report any security or HIPAA violations and concerns to the HIPAA Officers.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in a physician business office or a similar environment.
• More than 3 years of experience in a billing management position.
• Prior supervisory experience is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with healthcare-related issues and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, verbal, and written skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and adaptability.
• Must be able to use a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Ability to follow instructions, work with others, and manage stress effectively.
• Commitment to complying with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Remote/virtual work options available.
• Occasional travel to Med-Metrix locations and client sites.
• Support and requirements for multifactor authentication and security devices.
