Manager, Accounts Receivable – Medical Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable team.

• Oversee AR processes, staff development, client relations, and collection objectives.

• Track client inventory, account punctuality, accuracy, quality, productivity, and fair distribution of work assignments.

• Ensure that supervisors carry out timely and precise monitoring of productivity and quality.

• Confirm that client-specific policies and procedures are documented and adhered to.

• Provide assistance and resolutions for inquiries from both external and internal clients.

• Prepare and maintain various reports and logs, including monthly reports for clients.

• Supervise Smartfeed assignments within the MPower Workflow system and escalate any issues to leadership and Customer Support.

• Review contract pricing and escalate concerns to the director and contract management team.

• Stay updated on healthcare issues and regulations.

• Offer training, oversight, feedback, and disciplinary measures as necessary.

• Monitor team attendance and usage of PTO.

• Disable remote client access for employees who have been terminated or transferred, when applicable.

• Ensure that direct reports are trained and compliant with Information Security and HIPAA regulations.

• Report any security or HIPAA violations and concerns to the HIPAA Officers.

• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in a physician business office or a comparable environment.

• Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and flexibility.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal abilities with effective communication across all organizational levels.

• Excellent problem-solving and creative skills, capable of exercising sound judgment and making decisions based on prompt and accurate analyses.

• High integrity and dependability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven mindset.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Must own a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Must adhere to Information Security and HIPAA guidelines and procedures.

• Must safeguard and disclose PHI only in accordance with HIPAA standards.

• Ability to follow instructions, collaborate with others, manage stress, and perform the specified physical duties.
