This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Generate timely and accurate monthly management reporting documents for the designated business unit.
• Analyze variances against benchmarks and investigate discrepancies.
• Engage with non-financial department heads and business units to identify potential issues.
• Lead initiatives aimed at process and system enhancements.
• Refresh Excel-based reconciliations and support documentation for Balance Sheet accounts.
• Provide support and constructive feedback to business leaders during the Group’s Quarterly Strategic Review and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and deliver information packages to auditors and facilitate the statutory audit process.
• Compile periodic financial statements, supporting schedules, tax calculations, and cash flow projections.
• Interpret and relay financial information to non-financial managers.
• Offer guidance on business implications and propose recommendations.
• Engage in process development and transformation initiatives to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Function as a Business Partner across all facets of the role.
• Contribute to the overarching corporate strategy.
• Gather data and perform analysis to assist in business decision-making.
• Aid in regional acquisitions and their integration into Vesta’s systems, processes, controls, and policies.
• Strong commercial insight and financial analysis capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel modeling, data analysis, and reconciliation skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ERP software is a plus.
• Experience in an international business setting is advantageous.
• Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of IFRS is preferred.
• Experience within the software or high-tech industry is beneficial.
• Highly organized and systematic approach to work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent skills in client-facing and stakeholder engagement.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
