This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Account Executives from the qualification stage through discovery, solution development, proposal creation, presentation, negotiation, and transition to delivery.
• Facilitate technical and operational discovery sessions with engineers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Convert requirements into comprehensive managed services solutions, outlining scope, service levels, operating model, governance, tools, integrations, staffing assumptions, transition needs, dependencies, and client responsibilities.
• Showcase solution architecture, service outcomes, value propositions, assumptions, risks, and distinguishing factors to both technical and executive audiences.
• Assist in complex and strategic initiatives, including RFP/RFI submissions, executive presentations, proofs of concept, and multi-tower managed services opportunities.
• Develop, launch, maintain, and continuously enhance outcome-focused managed services offerings.
• Produce service briefs, FAQs, solution playbooks, standard architectures, scope and responsibility matrices, contractual language, SOW content, and delivery acceptance criteria.
• Set technical, scoping, and packaging standards for sales, pricing, contracts, onboarding, and support.
• Utilize feedback from clients, Sales, Delivery, and partners to identify portfolio gaps and new go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with Delivery to confirm operational readiness, identify automation prospects, support procedures, documentation, and quality controls.
• Develop and manage pricing calculators, cost models, consumption-based frameworks, labor assumptions, third-party costs, and margin scenarios.
• Engage in qualification and deal reviews, recognizing risks and suggesting mitigations.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Finance on quotes, pricing schedules, bookable documents, and approval materials.
• Create and provide seller and technical training for offerings.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Legal, Delivery, Engineering, Operations, and executive leadership.
• Interact with technology vendors and service partners regarding capabilities, licensing, terms, dependencies, and joint go-to-market strategies.
• Lead the transition from presales to delivery, ensuring clear communication of scope, assumptions, commitments, risks, client expectations, and success metrics.
• Over 7 years of experience in managed services, IT consulting, technical product management, solutions architecture, presales engineering, or similar client-facing technology roles.
• Proven track record in designing, productizing, positioning, and selling managed services within a multi-client context.
• Experience in creating presales and offering documentation, such as service briefs, proposals, SOWs, RFP submissions, technical standards, and seller training materials.
• Strong comprehension of managed services operating models, recurring revenue economics, service levels, governance, transitions, support processes, delivery readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in developing pricing models, scoping standards, cost assumptions, margin analysis, and commercial structures for complex services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, end users, business stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
• Capacity to lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, executive presentations, and cross-functional decision-making with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Broad knowledge across public and private cloud, datacenter infrastructure, security, endpoint and OS management, data protection, networking, and service management.
• Experience in developing differentiated or consumption-based managed services and enhancing delivery efficiency through automation and standardization.
• Familiarity with building and activating technology partner relationships, including joint solution development and go-to-market alignment.
• Knowledge of platforms and ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure and Azure Arc, Microsoft 365, AWS, ServiceNow, Tanium, Elastic, Zscaler, Commvault, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Pure Storage, NVIDIA, or similar technologies.
• Working understanding of common security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO, PCI, and HIPAA.
• Experience in supporting large, customized, or strategic managed services pursuits with visibility at the executive level.
