
Managed Care – Tapestry Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive project management for Epic Tapestry and managed care projects, encompassing scope definition, project planning, timelines, budget oversight, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across configuration, claims, benefits, enrollment/eligibility, utilization management, and technical integration workstreams.
• Manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations, effectively resolving issues and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions, workgroups, and steering committees, providing consistent project status updates to leadership.
• Supervise build, testing, validation, and go-live readiness activities, facilitating command center operations and post-go-live stabilization.
• Partner with payer operations and technical teams on workflows related to claims processing, authorization/referral, and member management.
• Ensure transparent communication regarding successes, risks, and issues to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel between facilities as necessary when engaging with clients.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, required.
• Demonstrated project management experience leading healthcare IT implementations, required.
• Practical experience with Epic Tapestry and managed care/payer-side operations, including claims, contracts, benefits, enrollment/eligibility, and utilization management, required.
• Experience managing full-cycle Epic implementations and go-lives is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of managed care workflows and payer operations, required.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, risk mitigation, and organizational skills, required.
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Epic Tapestry certification(s) is preferred.
• Reliable internet connection for remote work.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at client offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities as required.
• Ability to use appropriate PPE when visiting medical facilities.
