Managed Care Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct billing, audit receivables, and manage collections for services rendered to patients in designated facilities.

• Achieve monthly cash collection targets.

• Reduce the effects of bad debt for assigned buildings/facilities.

• Communicate with insurance providers to address unpaid claims through both phone and written communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with medical billing and collection practices is essential.

• 3-5 years of experience in managed care billing is preferred.

• Experience with billing for various Managed Care companies and understanding their specific requirements is required.

• Expertise in claim appeals and resolutions is preferred.

• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is preferred.

• Must possess a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with insurance companies regarding unpaid claims.

• Basic computer skills and literacy are required.

• Strong organizational abilities are a must.
