This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Drive growth in orders within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Develop strategic partnerships with leading general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers, including standard terms and conditions, master purchasing agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with Vertical Account Managers to enhance growth on targeted opportunities.
• Provide an accurate weekly forecast of orders in Salesforce, encompassing forecasts for Install and Service business lines.
• Consistently achieve the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Build professional relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
• Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of significant pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem in Salesforce.
• Suggest and execute improvements to meet sales objectives.
• Review the Major Market territory plan bi-annually, focusing on white space, relationship mapping, and strategy.
• Acquire new customer logos and develop a pipeline of potential customer targets.
• Meet or surpass the Annual Operating Plan on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Identify opportunities, foster stakeholder relationships, and provide integrated building automation solutions for large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Over 6 years of sales experience in the Building Automation or Building Technology sector, including expertise in Building Management Systems, HVAC, Fire, Security, and Software.
• Possession of a valid Class Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to customer sites within the territory.
• Experience in sales for large or major projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the Construction Ecosystem, including general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.
• Proficient in using the Salesforce.com platform.
• Strong understanding of direct sales of integrated solutions.
• Skilled in outcome-based selling techniques.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding the Annual Operating Plan.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competence in selling to C-Level executives.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
