This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Cultivate relationships with accounts by visiting customer locations within the designated territory.
• Promote and sell products and services while serving as the primary point of contact for customers after the sale.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction, retention, and business development.
• Connect with customers through phone, chat, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
• Address client inquiries and advise customers on suitable products and services.
• Implement sales strategies and produce sales reports.
• Discover opportunities to boost sales volume while maintaining service standards.
• Establish trust and cultivate robust customer relationships.
• Achieve or surpass sales and margin targets.
• Promote awareness and sales of the VWR Private Label range.
• Execute customized strategies across designated accounts.
• Foster new and existing opportunities through effective territory management and regular customer outreach.
• Analyze customer trends and identify sales opportunities.
• Leverage internal, global, cross-functional, and external resources to meet targets.
• Utilize the VWR CRM database to manage customer relationships, interactions, and information.
• Plan, forecast, and accomplish territory/account goals and KPIs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required.
• Candidates based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are preferred.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of one or two additional languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with company products, promotions, services, and solution offerings.
• Comprehensive understanding of types of relationships and buyer behaviors.
• Extensive knowledge of the VWR Product & Service portfolio.
• Deep understanding of VWR functions and their respective roles.
• Ability to adapt content to suit the audience and objectives.
• Skill in fostering mutually beneficial customer relationships and steering strategic discussions.
• Strong listening and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage diverse buyer types and personalities.
• Competence in analyzing and integrating sales data.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and territory.
• Skill in negotiating pricing strategies and contracts for large accounts.
• Capability to handle challenging situations with efficacy.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites five days a week.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
