Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute electrical or instrumental maintenance tasks as part of Severn Trent’s Water Treatment team.

• Operate in intricate water-treatment process facilities.

• Begin your work from home and travel regionally within the Warwickshire area using a company vehicle.

• Engage with advanced electrical systems and process control technologies.

• Assist in preventing issues proactively, contributing to the safety of communities and rivers.

• Take part in specialized training, formal education, on-the-job development, assessments, and competency advancement.

• Aim to achieve a recognized second skill.

• Provide standby support as necessary.

• Work hours are Monday–Thursday from 7:30 to 15:30 and Friday from 7:30 to 15:00, with potential for flexibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or NVQ Level 3 Instrumental qualification, or an equivalent qualification based on specialty.

• Familiarity with the 18th edition IEE electrical regulations.

• A valid full UK driving licence.

• Experience obtained from process plants across any industry.

• Readiness to participate in standby duties.

• Commitment to working towards achieving a recognized second skill.

• Background in electrical or instrumental engineering/technician roles.

• Knowledge of industrial electrical installation standards and requirements.

• Instrumental qualifications or relevant experience are beneficial but not mandatory.
