Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and cleaning of equipment.

• Execute preventive maintenance and facilitate necessary repairs.

• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with established procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Evaluate new equipment as instructed.

• Record and communicate actions taken, irregularities observed, and ongoing requirements.

• Utilize email and Circle K computer-related forms for documentation.

• Engage in training sessions for both existing and new equipment.

• Achieve related team, financial, and key result area objectives in alignment with company plan guidelines.

• Operate across various locations between Mt. Vernon and Carbondale, Illinois.

• Function with minimal guidance and periodic oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; alternative combinations of experience and education that fulfill minimum requirements may be considered.

• 3–5 years of experience in the maintenance construction sector is preferred.

• Manual dexterity to effectively operate equipment and work in confined spaces.

• Proficiency in using power and hand tools.

• Capability to crouch and/or crawl and utilize a ladder.

• Telecommunications experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities.

• Capacity to work independently within a high-priority, confidential, and demanding business environment.

• Valid driver’s license and insurability for driving.

• Proficiency in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Ability to occasionally lift weights of up to 80 pounds.
