Mainframe Security / Vulnerability Management Consultant – zSecure Audit, RACF, ACF2, Top Secret

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services for mainframe security and vulnerability management.

• Execute zSecure Audit tasks.

• Collaborate with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS) systems.

• Enhance system security utilizing z/OS RACF STIG.

• Address cybersecurity controls and carry out vulnerability remediation for mainframe systems.

• Partner with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Engage with clients and provide support.

• Develop and uphold documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of direct zSecure Audit experience — REQUIRED.

• Extensive z/OS Mainframe Security expertise.

• Practical experience with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• In-depth knowledge of REXX.

• Familiarity with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL.

• Proficient in utilizing z/OS RACF STIG for system hardening.

• Comprehensive understanding of mainframe cybersecurity, security measures, and vulnerability remediation.

• Experience collaborating with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

• Experience with Confluence and Visio is preferred.
