Mainframe Security / Vulnerability Management Consultant – zSecure Audit – RACF, ACF2, Top Secret

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services focused on mainframe security and vulnerability management.

• Execute zSecure Audit tasks.

• Collaborate with RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret (TSS) security protocols.

• Enhance system security utilizing z/OS RACF STIG.

• Identify and resolve mainframe security vulnerabilities.

• Work in partnership with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Create documentation and interact with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of practical zSecure Audit experience — REQUIRED.

• Extensive experience in z/OS Mainframe Security.

• Practical knowledge of RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• In-depth understanding of REXX.

• Familiarity with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL.

• Experience in utilizing z/OS RACF STIG for system hardening.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mainframe cybersecurity, security measures, and vulnerability remediation.

• Proven experience collaborating with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

• Experience with Confluence and Visio is preferred.
