Mainframe Security Consultant – Vulnerability Management, zSecure Audit, RACF, ACF2, TSS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services focused on mainframe security and vulnerability management.

• Conduct zSecure Audit operations.

• Utilize security systems such as RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• Enhance system security by implementing z/OS RACF STIG.

• Address and resolve mainframe security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with teams in Mainframe Engineering and Information Security.

• Create documentation and interact with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of practical zSecure Audit experience — REQUIRED.

• Extensive z/OS Mainframe Security expertise.

• Practical knowledge of RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• Proficient in REXX programming.

• Familiarity with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL.

• Experience in using z/OS RACF STIG for system hardening.

• Solid grasp of mainframe cybersecurity, security controls, and vulnerability management.

• Proven experience collaborating with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

• Preferred experience with Confluence and Visio.
