Mainframe Security Consultant – Vulnerability Management, zSecure Audit, RACF, ACF2, Top Secret (TSS)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services focused on mainframe security and vulnerability management.

• Engage in hands-on zSecure Audit activities.

• Collaborate with z/OS Mainframe Security, including RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• Utilize z/OS RACF STIG guidelines for system hardening.

• Address security controls and facilitate vulnerability remediation.

• Work in partnership with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Generate documentation and interact with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7–10 years of practical zSecure Audit experience — REQUIRED.

• Extensive experience in z/OS Mainframe Security.

• Practical knowledge of RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• Proficient understanding of REXX programming.

• Experience with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL tools.

• Familiarity with z/OS RACF STIG for hardening practices.

• Strong grasp of mainframe cybersecurity, security controls, and vulnerability remediation processes.

• Proven experience collaborating with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

• Experience with Confluence and Visio is preferred.
