Mainframe Security Consultant – Vulnerability Management, zSecure Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services focused on mainframe security and vulnerability management.

• Conduct zSecure Audit procedures.

• Assist in the remediation of z/OS mainframe security vulnerabilities.

• Engage with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS) systems.

• Utilize z/OS RACF STIG to enhance system hardening.

• Collaborate with teams in Mainframe Engineering and Information Security.

• Develop documentation and interact with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of direct experience with zSecure Audit — REQUIRED.

• Extensive knowledge of z/OS Mainframe Security.

• Practical experience with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).

• In-depth understanding of REXX.

• Familiarity with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL.

• Proven experience in utilizing z/OS RACF STIG for system hardening.

• Solid grasp of mainframe cybersecurity, security controls, and vulnerability remediation.

• Experience collaborating with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client interaction skills.

• Experience with Confluence and Visio is preferred.
