Machine Operator B – Auxiliary Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate heavy machinery by using mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic controls according to operating procedure manuals and personal expertise.

• Load and transport various materials, including ore, slag, coal, and ferronickel.

• Operate equipment such as wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, crawler tractors, and dump trucks.

• Maintain and enhance access roads through the operation of a motor grader.

• Re-stack materials like ore, slag, and coal.

• Remove containers with a hook-lift truck.

• Apply water to roads using a water truck.

• Transport supplies and materials to different locations within the industrial plant.

• Document daily machine operating hours in spreadsheets.

• Inspect and clean machinery at both the start and end of each shift.

• Support machine mechanics and lubricators in locating and diagnosing issues.

• Adhere to policies and procedures regarding Operational Safety and Health, Environmental and Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• A technical qualification in Mining or Metallurgy is advantageous.

• Proven experience in operating heavy machinery, including motor graders, crawler tractors, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, water trucks, dump trucks, and hook-lift trucks.

• Possession of a Class D driver's license.

• Willingness to work shifts and administrative hours.
